Welcome back to planDisney, Jenny. I hope you and your loved ones are safe from the fires and this upcoming visit will bring you joy.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed explicitly for guests like your daughter who, because of a
disability, are unable to wait in the regular queue for extended periods. You'll get a specific return window that allows you to rest or find other things to keep her occupied while waiting for your chosen experience.
To use DAS, you need to
register your daughter. I would take care of registration before your arrival so that you can concentrate on all the fun once you arrive. You can register via video chat up to 30 days before arrival, which is valid for 240 days. Once she is approved, you can use the My Disney Experience app to then select your DAS attractions. The
maximum party size for DAS is four people (the DAS guest and three additional guests) unless a member of the immediate party (your family) is under 18, and then they can join.
A few tips - to use DAS, your daughter must be present and enjoy the experience with the rest of your
family. You can only hold one DAS selection at a time, so once you've scanned and entered the queue, I suggest pulling up the app and picking your next selection while you wait.
I hope this helps explain the DAS process. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any additional questions. I wish you and your family a magical vacation!
