How do I make pre-selections for DAS?

Hello there, Kimberly! I'm so happy to see you here at planDisney. You'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort soon, so I hope you have your festive tees and ears packed! Holiday visits are extra magical, don't you think? It sounds like someone in your party is eligible for Disability Access Service (DAS), so let's discuss how booking return times for attractions will work during your visit.

DAS is a fabulous service designed for guests who are unable to wait in traditional standby queues. You can pre-register via video call up to 30 days before arrival to determine eligibility, or you can register the day of your visit. While there isn't an in-person option at the theme parks, you can use your mobile device to request a video chat. Please stop by Guest Relations if you need to borrow a device.

In the past, guests who qualified for DAS could pre-select some attractions before their visit. This option is no longer offered, so you'll begin making selections after scanning into the theme park. You should see a DAS tile on the welcome screen of your My Disney Experience mobile app, so tap that to get the party started!

My tip is to review the Accessibility information on the Walt Disney World website. You'll find tips on preparing for the theme parks, what to bring, and more. I especially value the section on taking breaks around the parks. We all need some downtime, especially during the holidays.

Kimberly, I hope I've helped you prepare to make magical memories with your group. Please stop by planDisney anytime. We love playing a small part in planning guests' vacations. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
