As you know, Walt Disney World is very welcoming of
Service Animals, and I’m sure you’re excited to bring your four-legged friend along for your stay at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! That said, there are a few guidelines to keep in mind. Service Animals must remain under their owner’s control at all times and should be on a leash or in a harness, unless doing so would interfere with the animal’s work or the Guest’s disability.
With this in mind, your husband’s Service Animal would not be permitted to remain unattended in your Disney Resort hotel room. If your husband will be away from the room, the Service Animal would need to accompany him or have another appropriate arrangement made for its care.
As a quick reminder, since you’ll be staying at a Disney Resort, you’ll have the perk of being able to make
dining reservations 60 days before your arrival date for your entire stay, up to 10 days. I’d definitely set a reminder and start making a list of all the delicious restaurants and dining experiences you’d like to try. There are so many tasty choices, so having a game plan can really help!
