Ahoy Angela!
Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you decided to sail by with a question for us. I know you must be thrilled to be planning a Disney Cruise Line sailing to
Alaska. That itinerary is at the top of my travel to-do list so I think you've made a great choice!
If you're looking to add
Ground Transportation for your sailing on
Disney Wonder you can do so by contacting a Disney Cruise Line Crew Member at (800) 951-3532. The current price for ground transfers between Vancouver International Airport and Canada Place Cruise Terminal is $25 per guest, per direction. Based on my research, private ground transfers between the airport and cruise port will be available for purchase for 2024 sailings at a cost of $45 per person. It does not appear that Vancouver ground transfers are available for booking just yet, but you can
contact a Disney Cruise Line Crew Member for more details on pricing and availability. Keep in mind that airport transfers are only available on embarkation and debarkation days, but Disney Cruise Line can usually assist in booking pre or post-cruise hotel stays as well.
My family always arrives one day prior to embarkation day to avoid any stress related to airline delays or traffic. We'd rather enjoy a leisurely hotel stay the night before we set sail so we arrive refreshed and ready for fun instead of rushing or worrying as we head to the ship. Based on your arrival date it sounds like you might have a similar plan in mind.
My pals
Tracie and
Amy A. both enjoyed Alaskan itineraries this summer and I'm sure would be more than happy to answer any additional questions about their experiences if you'd like to reach out to them directly. I'm still waiting to find my perfect travel dates, but already looking forward to enjoying a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate on the upper decks just like Amy did with her family, and plan to do a little retail therapy in hopes of finding an adorable fleece jacket with plaid accents like Tracie did on her trip.
I hope this helped Angela. Please sail right on back with more planning questions as you count down to your sailing. We're always all hands on deck!
Magic and memories,
Amy
