Hi Cassandra, and welcome to planDisney! October is such a BOO-tiful time to be at Disney World, and especially Magic Kingdom. I just love seeing the pumpkin decorations all along Main Street, U.S.A.! It’s a magical place to be, even if you’re not attending
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. So let’s talk about enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at
Liberty Tree Tavern, which sounds like the perfect autumn meal!
I chatted with a Cast Member who confirmed that the start time of your dining reservation needs to be within regular park hours if you don’t have a ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Since Magic Kingdom typically closes to non-party guests at 6:00 p.m. on those nights, you can absolutely book a 5:45 p.m. reservation for Liberty Tree Tavern. In fact, this is a great way to maximize your time at Magic Kingdom that day! And after dinner, a Cast Member will escort your party to the front of the park since you’re not attending the party. Be sure to check the
My Disney Experinece app or
Disney World website for the exact park hours during your visit.
If you’re looking for spooky vibes without going to the late-night Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you might be interested in dining at
Hollywood & Vine. During October, Minnie and her friends will be dressed in their festive Halloween outfits!
I’m wishing you a spooktacular time at Disney World in just a few more weeks! And if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
