Hi Frederic! Welcome to planDisney. Health and safety are of the utmost importance when visiting Disneyland. Let’s talk about how you can ensure your day in the park is both magical and comfortable.
There are locations in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure with outlets that may be available for use if needed. If you let a
Cast Member know that you are charging a medical device (as opposed to, say, charging a phone), they will be able to guide you to the best spot for you to plug in your device. One thing to keep in mind is that restaurants typically have the fewest number of outlets available, so be sure to let the Cast Members at those locations know if you would like to charge your device while you dine.
In addition, both parks have a
First Aid Center that is staffed by nurses who can assist you with any medical needs. In Disneyland, the location is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. next to the Baby Care Center, while in Disney California Adventure, you’ll find the First Aid Center next to the Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street. These spots may be a good location for you to not only plug in your device but also take care of any other medical needs that may arise from your trip.
I do have one final tip,
shared by my fellow panelist Susan, who is a pediatric nurse. She suggests that you ask your medical equipment supplier for some additional batteries that you can use on a short-term basis during your trip. Not only will this help give you peace of mind while you travel the parks, but it will also keep you on the go, without needing to stop to plug in for a charge.
Frederic, if you have any additional questions or would like any tips on navigating the parks, please reach out to us again at planDisney. We would be happy to help you have the most magical visit ever!
Enjoy your trip!
David
