Bright suns, Christie, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with this Force-sensitive question. You'll soon be traveling to a galaxy far, far away (also known as
Disney's Hollywood Studios), so let's look at how you can build a lightsaber while you're there. We must keep you safe from the First Order, right?
As you know, guests can book Enchanting Extras like Savi's Workshop
60 days in advance, so you're within that window now. However, the Dark Side often disrupts the balance, preventing international guests from booking these experiences in advance. But I have a GOOD feeling about this, so let's look at some suggestions.
My first tip is to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app as soon as you arrive in the US. Once you're logged in, tap the search icon at the bottom of the screen and type
"Savi's Workshop." On the landing screen, tap the blue bar to search for availability. A bonus tip is to select several days on the calendar to see all open slots; you can search up to 10 days at a time. You might have better luck finding times later in your visit.
If you don't see any openings, keep checking. Guests change their plans, often at the last minute. You can also head to Savi's Workshop when the park opens to ask about available times in person; you never know when some space-age pixie dust will sprinkle down!
You can also call the
Tours & Recreation line now to see if you have other options. My best pal R2D2 and I are wishing on the conquered Death Star that you're able to snag a seat at Savi's!
While you're soaking up the galactic vibes at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, I hope you take a spin on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The new mission with the
Mandalorian and Grogu will be out of this world! This is the way.
Christie, thanks again for letting
planDisney help you plan your upcoming Disney holiday. 'Til the Spire!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
