Seasons greetings, Joanne! I'm glad you stopped by planDisney with this festive and patriotic question. Combining holiday cheer with some good old USA vibes sounds like the perfect way to celebrate. Let's look at seasonal offerings at the American Adventure Pavilion for your upcoming visit.
The
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is in full swing and runs through December 30. It's the perfect time to immerse yourself in the wonder of the season on an international level. Sample delectable bites from the
Holiday Kitchens and discover how countries worldwide celebrate.
I recently visited the American Adventure Pavilion but don't recall seeing a gingerbread display there. I reached out to a red, white, and blue Cast Member who said there is no mention of one in the
Disney Parks Blog information, so he said you could be thinking of a previous year's offering.
While that's not the news you hoped for, I have some suggestions. The America Pavilion boasts a gorgeous outdoor Christmas tree that makes the perfect photo backdrop. And if it's gingerbread you're after, try the
Gingerbread Funnel Cake there. Nothing screams "America" like fried dough with ice cream and sprinkles on top!
I hope you stop by
CommuniCore Hall and Plaza during your EPCOT visit. The Gingerbread Spaceship Earth display is dazzling! Stay for the light show, which runs about every ten minutes, because it's as Christmassy as it gets. If you're still on the gingerbread trail, grab a
Spaceship Earth Tile Gingerbread Triangle there. It's part of this year's
Holiday Cookie Stroll!
Joanne, I hope your holidays are merry and bright...and full of patriotism. To paraphrase Sam Eagle, this season is for everyone...but mostly America. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
