Calling all dreamers! Welcome back to planDisney, Ashlee. I can't think of a better way to immerse yourself in the magic than with a
parade at the Disneyland Resort, and the Magic Happens parade is one of my favorites.
There's an electric feeling you get when you hear the music start to play for this magical parade. Unfortunately, this parade is currently on hiatus while the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is taking place. While I wish I had a crystal ball, like Madame Leota, to tell me if and when this parade will return next year, the outlook isn't quite so clear. For now, I recommend keeping an eye on
Disney Parks Blog as the year goes on for any updates and news that is shared for the following year. For the past couple of years, a calendar of events and entertainment offerings for the coming year has been posted sometime in early December. So let's hope we hear some good news then.
In the meantime, there's plenty of just as magical entertainment to enjoy at the resort. The
Entertainment Schedule is the best place to see what offerings are available during your visit. There's also a
great video with Magic Happens parade coverage that you can take a peek at to bring the experience to your home. While it's not quite the same as getting the experience in person, I still got that pumped-up feeling when I heard that first note drop.
