Greetings, Dulce. From one Magic Key holder to another, welcome to planDisney! Let's talk about theme park reservations.
As you know, valid admission and a theme park reservation are required to enter Disneyland or California Adventure. The number of reservations that you can hold at one time depends on which
Magic Key pass you have.
A set number of theme park reservations is allocated to Magic Key passes each day, and you can
view availability on a calendar. "No Magic Key Reservations Available" means the reservations have all been accounted for, and you can't currently reserve that date with your pass. However, availability can change since Magic Key holders can
modify or cancel their reservations until 11:59 p.m. the day before. Just keep checking back. There have been many times when I've been able to reserve a date that was previously unavailable. I can't guarantee that will always be the case, though.
Keep in mind that this is different from blockout dates, which are days a specific Magic Key pass can't be used regardless of reservation availability. The
calendar shows it with a slash through the date, as opposed to a circle with a line through it when reservations aren't available.
I have the
Inspire Key and my kids have the
Believe Key. These passes can currently hold six reservations at one time. Planning ahead is key, especially for weekends or holidays, since those dates fill up faster. I use most of my reservations for dates further out and keep one or two available to use for more spontaneous trips in between.
Dulce, I hope this information helps you make the most of your Magic Key pass. If you ever have any other questions, please come on back to planDisney – we're always happy to help!
Your pal,
Kriss
