Hello! My niece is turning three on the day we are going to Disney World. Do I need a Park Reservation/ticket for her as well? I know children under three get in free but I wasn’t sure about kids that are three. Thank you for the help!

    Hi Lizzie,

Thanks for bringing your question to us today. I'm thrilled to hear your niece will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort soon. I have vivid memories of my children's first park visits, so I just know there is so much magic awaiting her. Let's work out the details.

All guests aged 3 and older require theme park tickets for entry, so if your niece is arriving on her special day she will need valid admission. Depending on when she'll be visiting, she'll likely also need a theme park reservation in addition to theme park tickets. At this time, theme park reservations are required for visits through January 8, 2024. However, beginning January 9th, date-based tickets will not require the additional step of making a reservation.

I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday than at Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, I celebrated my own birthday there this past weekend and had a most magical time! Be sure to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button for her at Guest Relations or your Disney Resorts Collection hotel front desk. You might also consider booking a Capture Your Moment photo session to commemorate her special day and purchasing an iconic Mickey balloon. Not only do they make adorable photo props and great souvenirs, but we've used them to help us quickly spot our stroller parked in a crowd, too!

Lizzie, if we can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to stop back and let us know. We're always happy to help!

    Wishing you magic and memories,
    Amy
