Disney Vacation Club Member! I see that you're headed stateside later this summer, and I'll be happy to explain how to modify your reservation prior to your arrival. Let's dive right in!
Since we DVC Members often book vacations well in advance, it's not uncommon that plans may change a bit in the meantime. Fortunately, it's easy to make changes online via the Member website. Log in and navigate to the "My DVC" option, then select "My Dashboard" from the drop-down menu. This will take you to a landing page that shows the status of your Vacation Points, with a "My Plans" section that lists any upcoming reservations. Click on your August vacation, and you'll see an option for "View or Modify Details". From here, you can make any changes to Guest names. Easy-peasy!
Gillian, since you'll be arriving for a summer holiday, I want to make sure you're in the know about some of the activities going on at
Walt Disney World Resort as part of
Cool KIDS' SUMMER. First and foremost, Guests checking in to a Disney hotel (including the DVC properties) receive free water park admission on their check-in day! You can drop your bags and head directly to either water park to enjoy some extra fun in the sun. During your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, you'll also be able to enjoy special Character experiences in the parks and at the resorts, as well as some other fun summer activities.
