Hi Orla, and welcome to planDisney! I’m sorry to hear that you left something behind at your resort hotel, but Disney World is pretty good at returning lost items. So let’s chat about how to recover lost property.
On the Disney World website, head over to the
Lost and Found page and click the link to answer questions about your missing item. Once you finish filling that out, you’ll receive an email with a Lost Item claim number confirming that they received your submission. Then Cast Members will look for your lost property and aim to email an update within 48 hours.
It sounds like you might be back home already, so while you wait for an update on your missing item, I wanted to share one of my favorite ways to keep the post-Disney blues away. And that’s planning another trip! Even if I don’t actually have a specific date in mind for my next holiday, I love to keep up on the latest developments in the theme parks by reading
Disney Parks Blog. And between
Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom and
Piston Peak in Magic Kingdom, there are so many exciting things on the horizon!
The other gem is the
Disney Parks YouTube channel, where you can find series like
Disney Unscripted (to go behind the scenes in the theme parks) and
planDisney’s resort tour videos (a great way to choose your next resort hotel!).
I’m wishing on a star that your missing item finds its way back home! And if you have any other questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
