Hey there, Carly (or should I say "Boo to you!")
We're so glad you've brought your question to us. I've attended
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on two past occasions, and I've also experienced a Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party. It was delicious and magical and offered a wonderful view of the bursts over Cinderella Castle. I've yet to combine these experiences on the same night, but I'm certain that you're in for plenty of treats (and maybe a few tricks) as you attend
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing.
When I attended the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert: Post-Party a few years back, I was instructed to pick up a wristband at the entrance to
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. Some guests opted to grab theirs and continue the fun around the park, but I decided to head directly to the viewing area to secure a spot. There were two Dessert Party experiences that night- a Pre-Party which offered guests dessert first followed by fireworks viewing, and the Post-Party which had the opposite schedule. However, dessert, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic items are only available before the fireworks begin on Halloween Party nights, as
my pal Frances shared with another guest here.
Guests can pick up their event credentials up to 1.5 hours before the fireworks, but you are welcome to wait until closer to showtime. You should be able to come and go as you like within that time, but I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to sip and savor the treats before the spectacular begins. I took a look at the event calendar and
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is scheduled for 10 p.m. on the night of your visit. Schedules are subject to change, but you can plan to check in at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant beginning at 8:30 p.m. Again, you can arrive later but the closer you arrive to showtime, the less time you'll have to enjoy the dessert spread.
If you plan to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park using your Park Hopper Tickets you can bypass the crowds of partygoers by heading to the tapstiles on the left. Once inside, you'll still need to pick up your Halloween Party wristbands. I did this while attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last year, but I ended up missing some of the decor and entertainment along the designated pathway to the right of Main Street Confectionery in the process. I probably could have gone back around but got caught up in the excitement of the night and forgot. Not a dealbreaker, but just something to consider.
I hope this helps you make a plan for your upcoming visit. Carly. If we can answer any additional questions please don't hesitate to come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
