Hi, I am a military service member and I would like to purchase the military promo tickets for my parter and her sister. I would also like to purchase the California residence tickets for myself and my 2 kids. Can I use both at the same time at the gate?

To all who come to planDisney, welcome! We're so glad you're here to share this question with us, Ken. It won't be long until your magical adventure at the Disneyland Resort will be here, so let's make sure you're all set.

First, from all of us at planDisney, thank you for your service. I can't think of a better way to kick off the new year than by spending some time at Disneyland. I called and chatted with a friendly Cast Member who shared that it's not a problem at all to use two different ticket offers for your group during your visit. You will just want to make sure that each person is eligible for the type of ticket that they will be using for their visit.

The Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket can be purchased by Eligible Service Members or their spouses to be used for themselves or by friends and family members. To activate these tickets, the Eligible Service Member or their spouse must be using one of the tickets during the visit and provide valid military identification.

The Southern California Resident Ticket Offer is available to residents who live within ZIP codes 90000-93599. Proof of eligible residency along with a valid government-issued photo ID is required to purchase and use these special offer tickets. While minors are not required to present an ID to use these tickets, each adult using this offer will need to present their ID with proof of residency within the eligible ZIP codes.

One additional detail to consider is that the Disney Military Promotional Ticket Offer is for Park Hopper tickets, while the Southern California Resident Ticket Offer is a 1-Park Per Day Ticket. If everyone would like to jump between both theme parks, you will have the option to upgrade this ticket to a Park Hopper ticket.

If you haven't already, be sure to download the Disneyland app for your visit. It's a super handy tool with a map of the resort, attraction wait times and (my favorite) the feature to mobile order food and drink.

Ken, I hope this helps give you the information needed to make the best decision when purchasing tickets for your visit. Please come back to visit us with any other questions that you might be curious about. Here's wishing you a most magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
