I want to buy the Anaheim offer tickets for my 16 year olds. They would be going alone. They do not have a photo id nor a school ID (as we moved this summer). I will be buying online with my ID. I was told minors wouldnt be IDed. Can they go in alone? Ty.

Hi there, Kaelynn, welcome to Anaheim - and planDisney!

How exciting that your kids will be adventuring over to the Disneyland Resort soon. I have to say having Disneyland “in your backyard” is pretty great! The Anaheim Resident Ticket offer is a great way to explore the parks! Make sure they have a MyDisney account to link their tickets and the Disneyland app on their phones.

I’m happy to share that, yes, your kids can visit the theme park on their own. Per Disneyland Resort’s rules, children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. However, since they are under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult between the hours of 10 pm - 5 am PT in either park and within the Downtown Disney District. So, I advise that they limit their hours to the park opening to 9:30 pm to give them ample time to exit and head home. You’re also correct in that Disneyland Resort does not ID minors, so not having a photo ID is okay. As long as you purchased the tickets using a valid government-issued ID reflecting the appropriate zip code residence in Anaheim, they should be granted entrance. Ensure your resident address is accurate in your MyDisney account.

A couple of magical tips: 1) while they can enter the parks, they can’t make mobile food & beverage purchases in their app as minors or check out mobile while shopping in retail locations. I can share though that from my experience when my teens have been in the park on their own, they just texted me when they were ready to eat and I completed mobile food orders from my app (whether I was at home, the hotel, or the other park) and sent them the screenshot of the order once it was ready. 2) Purchase the park hopper because there’s magic at both parks. If they’re up for thrills and action, I recommend Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, The Incredicoaster, and WEB-SLINGERS: A Spiderman Adventure, and if it's a warm day hop on Grizzly River Run to cool off at Disney California Adventure Park. At Disneyland Park, gear up for an adventure to Space Mountain in Tomorrowland, then travel to Batuu to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

I remember my first visit to the parks as a teenager as a SoCal resident, it was so fun!! Well, Kaelynn, I sure hope they have the best time and I hope this has helped! If you have any other questions, feel free to send another message!

    Adventure is out there!
