Mele Kalikimaka, Dani! I'm thrilled you stopped by planDisney with this question as you get ready to jingle all the way to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
I can think of no better way to celebrate friends and family than lunch at
'Ohana. I have dreams of ‘Ohana Noodles with Teriyaki dancing in my head. Yum!
Since you have a dining reservation, you should be able to park at the Polynesian as long as there is capacity. Have your
My Disney Experience app in hand with the reservation screen ready to show the Cast Member at the security gate. They will let you know if and where spaces are available. If your friends made the reservation, make sure they add you to it. If they need to do this, they can find the dining reservation under "My Plans" on the app. Select "Update Party" and choose your MyDisney profiles from their
Family & Friends list.
While you are at the Polynesian, I recommend a quick stroll over to the
Island Tower. My friend
Jennifer and I hopped over just a few weeks ago to see the decorations and check out
Wailulu Bar & Grill. A Cast Member gave us the most amazing tour of the lobby. It celebrates nature, the islands and conservation in such a magnificent way! The large mural feels like the Ocean from Moana is calling you. And there is a magnificent art installation made of moss. Even the carpet is created from reclaimed plastic. I loved seeing the masts hanging from the ceiling, an homage to the islands and the animals that call them home, like turtles, geckos, and my favorite, a dolphin. She also told us that the fish made from reclaimed fishing nets hanging at the entrance to Wailulu has been nicknamed "Mr. Sparkles." He'll be in your heart!
Dani, I hope you enjoy the most wonderful time of the year at the
Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other questions, please come back to
planDisney. We're here to help your holidays be green and bright!
Merry! Merry!
Jana
