Can I take Mears transport to the airport port What is the cost

    Hi Krisandra!

Welcome to planDisney! When my family travels to Walt Disney World resort from our home state of Colorado by flying in to Orlando airport, we often use Mears Connect bus transport. Because let's face it.... once we arrive in that magical bubble of Disney World, we don't feel any need to leave! I've always enjoyed the stress free aspect of staying at a Disney World Resort, using free Disney transportation while there, and not even needing a vehicle.

I'm happy to report that yes, you can absolutely take Mears transport from your Disney resort hotel to Orlando (MCO) airport. My family just utilized this service two weeks ago. You will want to book a reservation in advance on the Mears Connect website, where you'll be allowed to schedule either a round trip or one-way shuttle ride. "Resort to Airport" (one-way) service is listed as an option, and that sounds like exactly what you're looking for. Currently, prices for standard service are $16 one way (per adult, $17.60 total with tax and fee), or $32 round trip (per adult. $33.60 total with tax and fee). Please check their website for additional details and making a reservation.

Before I go, I wanted to mention one other option I've used that worked really slick. I have found that Lyft and Uber will not allow pre-scheduling a ride from the MCO airport to Disney World (which personally, I find to be chaotic and stressful anyway!) But they do allow pre-scheduling a ride from Disney World to the MCO airport and will tell you the price ahead of time. This is what I chose on our recent trip, because the cost of a Lyft ride from Disney All-Star Sports resort to MCO ended up being around $36. Very close in price to a one-way shuttle ride on Mears for two, and much more relaxing and precise as far as controlling our departure time.

I hope this helps Krisandra, and I'm so excited you'll be arriving in the magic soon! Please visit us again at planDisney with any questions you may have.

    See ya' real soon!
