Hello Sylvia,
Welcome back to planDisney, we're happy to see you! You've got an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World just around the river bend... how exciting! If you're like me, you anticipate vacation eats & sweets almost as much as the rest of the vacation. Let's talk
Disney Dining Plan details!
You can purchase a Disney Dining Plan when booking a vacation package on the
Walt Disney World website. Note that to be able to purchase a dining plan, you will need to include both a hotel stay and theme park tickets. During the booking process, select your preference of Disney Dining Plan or Quick Service Dining Plan. When stepping through this selection, the website displays a helpful overview of what each plan includes, along with the cost of adding to your reservation.
If you already have a Disney reservation you'd like to add the dining plan to, please log on to your My Disney Experience account. Go to "
My Plans", and on your reservation select "Change Reservation". This should allow you to add the Disney Dining Plan of your choice. If you have any difficulties doing so, just
call a friendly Cast Member and they can assist you in doing so.
Based on your previous planDisney question, you may be staying as a DVC member guest? If you are staying at Disney World by using DVC points, check out my fellow panelist Susan's description of how to
add the Disney Dining Plan to a DVC reservation.
One last tip before I go! If you have any Mouseketeers in your magical crew... may I recommend using one of your awesome Disney Dining table service credits for a Character Dining experience? One of my family's absolute favorites is having breakfast with Mickey and his "artistic" friends at
Topolino's Terrace! The views are spectacular, and you'll be ordering a delicious entree off the menu which I find a bit more relaxing than a buffet. Because Topolino's Terrace is located at Disney's Riviera Resort, you can work this reservation into your EPCOT or Hollywood Studios day and use it as an opportunity to hop on the fun
Disney Skyliner transportation.
Your trip is coming up soon, so be sure to make some
Advance Dining Reservations as soon as possible!
I hope you have a wonderful time, Sylvia! Visit us again at planDisney with any additional questions.
See ya' real soon,
Tami
