Hi there, Adam, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're in the final hours of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation countdown. You must be so excited! Now is the perfect time to double-check that your MagicBands are ready to go.
Adam, if your
MagicBand+ doesn't seem to be working properly, there are a few steps you can take. While I'm not a tech support expert, I've had to do some of these procedures in the past, and they've worked for me. Your MagicBand+ might need a software update or even a factory reset. You'll also want to make sure that your
My Disney Experience Mobile App has been updated to the latest version when trying to pair your device.
This helpful website details all of these recommendations, as well as others that might be helpful. If you're still having trouble, you can reach out to a
Cast Member before you arrive or bring your MagicBand+ to a merchandise location or
Guest Relations during your visit.
Happily, a MagicBand+ isn't the only way to access the magic during your vacation! Did you know that you can use
Disney MagicMobile Service to
save your Disney Theme Park tickets to the wallet of your smartphone? It's similar to how you'd save a boarding pass or credit card, and you'll scan your phone at the park entrance and for
Lightning Lanes, just like you would tap your MagicBand+. Additionally, a Cast Member at the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or Guest Relations can provide you with a
Key to the World Card, which can do pretty much everything a MagicBand+ can do, including unlock your hotel room door!
Adam, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to pack your bags. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
