Looking into the vip tour to do with my family—group of 9. However, my in laws will be with us on that day which would make 11. They don’t ride the rides and are fine w sitting out of any transportation things we may have to go on. is this allowed?

    Hi Christina,

Disney Private VIP Tours are the ultimate way to experience Disney World. They pick you up at your Disney Resort hotel and plan an extra special day for you. You have the option to visit as many of the Disney theme parks as your heart desires and jump right in the Lightning Lane throughout the whole day. My favorite part of this experience is the quick transportation between theme parks and the ability to skip the main entrances with backstage access. This allows you to fit a lot of park hopping into one epic day!

Unfortunately, the 10-person limit for a Private VIP Tour is a hard limit. Infants are even included in the number of people allowed to follow along on your tour. It does not matter if you will be riding rides or transportation, if you are walking with the tour, you are considered part of that 10-person limit. If you have more than 10 people as part of your group, you will be required to pay for a second guide.

If you are set on the Private VIP Tour, you may want to look at having the other 2 members of your party join on a different day where you will be taking it easy. Another option is to have them meet you in the evening. You can start your tour early and have it end at a theme park. Once the official VIP tour ends, your other party members can join you for the rest of the evening. You are required to book a minimum of 7 hours for your tour. If you start at 8 AM, you could end in the late afternoon and spend the evening with the rest of your family.

If you decide to go on the Private VIP Tour, make sure to take advantage of their pre-booking services. They can help you get advanced dining reservations for that evening with your whole family! If you can't make the VIP tour work, check out the Enchanting Extras Collection for some fun that the whole family can participate in.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
