Hi Christine,
I spent some time over at
Disney's Fort Wilderness on my trip last week, and it was such a fun adventure. There are so many activities to do, and the whole vibe of the resort makes you feel like you are relaxing in the wild. I am excited to hear that you got a spot at Crocketts Craft Corner for a fun afternoon of crafting and snacks. I have heard great things about this experience and think your crew will love it!
There is no need to worry about shipping your goods home because this is a common occurrence at Disney World. Souvenirs abound at the Most Magical Place on Earth and as a result people regularly do not have room for all of their fabulous finds in their luggage. I think the easiest option is to wait until the end of my trip and package everything together to be shipped home from one of the conveniently located
Business Centers. If you are lucky enough to have one of these located at your Disney Resort hotel, this is even more convenient! If not, I typically plan a dinner towards the end of our trip at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or
Contemporary Resort so I can make a quick stop before at the Business Center. They will box up and protect your precious cargo and have it on its way.
If you plan to do any shopping at
Disney Springs on your trip, there is a great new option there for shipping as well. The new location is called Guest Shipping Station and is near Once Upon a Toy at Disney Springs. It is run by UPS and has lots of different options to help you get your goods home safely. This is a great option for me because the shopping at Disney Springs is epic. You are sure to find plenty of things you will want to box up with your craft, and maybe even get some of your holiday shopping completed!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
