How long does it take to get to magic kingdom from arts of animation resort?

    Nicholas,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is an attraction unto itself. The grounds literally transport you into your favorite Disney animated movies, and the selfie opportunities are endless!

When it is time for you to catch a bus from the Art of Animation to the Magic Kingdom, the actual bus travel time is about 20 minutes. But remember that there may not be a bus just sitting there waiting for you at the stop at the Art of Animation Hall. As a guideline, you might have to wait up to 20 minutes for one to arrive. As such, I recommend you plan at least 45 minutes of travel time. If you can start an hour ahead of time, that would be even better.

    BONUS TIP #1
Disney has been updating their bus fleet, and you will find them to be a great way to get around. Most now have USB charging ports placed throughout the bus for those cell phone battery emergencies!

    BONUS TIP #2
If you have time in the afternoon for a more scenic return journey, you could take the bus from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From there you could hop on the Disney Skyliner to sail your way home. You cannot do this in the morning, but in the afternoons these park-to-park buses start to run, allowing you this alternative. It is not a faster, or more direct route, but the flight home on that last leg is such a great way to travel!

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
