What is the earliest and fastest way to get from Art of Animantion to Magic Kingdom for a 8:30am Breakfast Reservation?

Welcome to planDisney, Monica! It sounds like we have a lot in common because I'm always up early on vacation to try and squeeze as much magic as possible into my day. Getting to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Art of Animation Resort first thing in the morning is really simple, so let's chat about it!

Monica, the earliest and fastest way to get from your Resort Hotel to Magic Kingdom Park is to take the complimentary bus transportation. You can find the bus outside of Animation Hall, which is the main building of Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The bus service typically starts 45 minutes before the Theme Park opens, but sometimes it might start running a little bit earlier than that. Magic Kingdom Park typically opens at 8:30 AM for Early Entry for guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, so you can expect to catch a bus sometime between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM. That's plenty of time to get to your breakfast reservation since you'll be able to enter the Theme Park around 8:00 AM!

One thing to keep in mind: with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starting this week, Magic Kingdom Park will be opening slightly earlier on certain days of the week. If you're visiting on a day when the Theme Park is closing early for a Party, Early Entry will begin at 7:30 AM so you'll be able to catch that first bus sometime around 6:30 AM or 6:45 AM.

    Have a magical day, Monica!
