Hello, is there any way to know the cost of the photo pass before my trip? Do you know if this is something I can prepay? I did this for my last trip to WDW, and it made it nice knowing the cost was already taken care of.

Hello Tori! I’m happy to help you ensure that the memories from your upcoming Disney trip are beautifully captured.

As an amateur photographer myself, I understand the importance of getting the perfect shot to commemorate your visit. Luckily, there are a couple of ways to purchase Disney PhotoPass ahead of your trip! First, you can choose to purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Week. This service will allow you to download all of your photos, including select attraction and dining photos, taken in a week for one price. (Currently the price is $78, however prices are subject to change.)

However, I recommend purchasing Lighting Lane Multi Pass in advance of your trip. Not only will you gain unlimited downloads of your PhotoPass photos but it also lets you maximize your visit by accessing Lighting Lanes entrance and shortening your wait times. Additionally, you’ll gain access to Disney PhotoPass lenses,  which offer magical augmented reality effects through the Disneyland App! This option is truly the best value. It  ensures you’ll have a treasure trove of amazing photos while making the most of everything the Disneyland Resort has to offer.

If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet, you can add Lighting Lane Multi Pass,  (which includes PhotoPass) to your ticket purchase. Simply select it as a ticket add-on when buying your park tickets via the Disneyland website. If you have already purchased your tickets, you may still be able to upgrade them through the Disneyland website

One tip when using your Photopass: make sure to take advantage of the available attraction photos. My family loves coming up with fun group poses while waiting in line. To this day, we always recreate the first photo we took with our daughter on the Incredicoaster. The photo that results is a treasured keepsake. Having a signature pose for attractions is a fantastic way to create unique and memorable moments together.

I hope this helps, Tori! Enjoy your visit next month and all the magical memories you’ll capture.

And don’t forget to say cheese!
