Hi, Iv already asked about adding the dining plan g plan to my 2nd week of my split stay. I was advised to find the change reservation button on my plans on the app. I can’t find it. Please can you give me specific instructions where to find it.

Hi Nicola and welcome back to planDisney. As a fellow UK resident, I will be happy to assist you with your query about your upcoming visit to my favourite holiday destination - Walt Disney World!

My family are big fans of the Disney Dining Plans! Not only are they super simple to use during your stay, they also help us to budget for our upcoming trips. Giving us peace of mind that the majority of our food and drink has been paid for, in advance.

I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news Nicola, but, unfortunately, it is only possible to add a Disney Dining Plan to a UK holiday package which includes a stay at a Disney Resort Hotel + Tickets.

When booking a split stay, typically, you would add the Tickets to the first part of your split stay which would then give you the option of adding a Disney Dining Plan as you are booking a Hotel + Ticket package.

When it comes to booking the second part of your split stay, this would typically be a Hotel only booking as you already have the Tickets that you require (which were bought as part of the Hotel + Ticket package for the first part of your split stay).

The only way to be able to add a Disney Dining Plan to the second part of your split stay would be to purchase another Hotel + Ticket package which would result in you having a second set of Tickets which you do not need.

If you would like to have a Disney Dining Plan for your entire stay, I would recommend contacting the organisation who you have made your bookings with, to see if it possible to extend the length of your Hotel stay for the first part of your split stay, to cover your entire stay and then, cancel the second booking altogether. They will be able to advise if there will be any amendment/cancellation fees for doing so.

I am so sorry for any confusion caused, Nicola. My planDisney friend, Tami, who answered your original question, may not have been aware that there are differences in booking conditions for UK and US Guests as well as differences between what we can see/do on the UK and US versions of the Walt Disney World website and My Disney Experience app.

Please feel free to ask me a question directly should you have any other questions about your upcoming trip - I will be more than happy to help.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
