If I’m staying on Disney property during the Banana Ball game, do I need to purchase a parking pass to the event or will I be able to take the bus?

    Hi Lauren,

Welcome to planDisney! What a great combination of fun you have planned: the wildly entertaining Banana Ball and a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

ESPN's Wide World of Sports generally is not on the regularly scheduled route for complimentary Disney transportation from the resorts. On select occasions, such as runDisney events, transportation shuttles may be added.

However, for Banana Ball, it does not appear that is the case.

If you plan to drive to the game, you will need to purchase a parking pass in advance. According to the ESPN Wide World of Sports site, you will not be able to pay for parking on site. Though the complex is large, this is a sold-out event, so parking passes may go quickly.

If you don't want to drive, your best options are a rideshare or a Minnie Van

There's so much exciting happening at Walt Disney World at the end of this month in addition to Banana Ball. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The MuppetsBluey's Wild World at Conservation Station at Animal Kingdom, and Soarin' Across America at Epcot all debut May 26.

And you can catch the final days of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, which wraps up June 1.

Have a ball during your visit, Lauren, and thanks for stopping by planDisney.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
