At this time, there are no restrictions on resort hopping for
Disney World resort guests! And staying at a resort on the Skyliner route will give you easy access to quite a few resorts!
From
Art of Animation, you’ll be able to take the Skyliner to Caribbean Beach, Riviera, and the Crescent Lake resort area, which includes Yacht Club, Beach Club, and the Boardwalk. You'll also be within walking distance of Pop Century.
Another area I love to explore around the holidays is the resorts near the Magic Kingdom. If you take the bus to the Magic Kingdom from your resort, you can hop on the
Monorail to visit the Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian. You can also take water transportation from Magic Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian.
Of course, the theme parks will be all decked out in holiday decor, too! And depending on when you’ll be taking your trip, you may be there when Magic Kingdom is hosting
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Hollywood Studios is hosting
Jollywood Nights. I’ve loved both parties for different reasons (I can’t pick a favorite!), and tickets are currently on sale for resort guests if you’re considering attending those.
