Hi Bobbie!
Welcome to planDisney!
If you have a ticket type that requires a park reservation, you can now make your park reservations right in your
My Disney Experience app. I actually just booked mine last night for our trip later this month, so I’m happy to help you out!
All you need to do is click the (+) button at the bottom of the screen on your app, then click Make or Modify Park Reservations. From there, follow the prompts to book your park reservation for each park day. If you have a
park hopper ticket, you will only need to make a park reservation for the very first park you plan to visit each day.
It’s good to note that date-based tickets no longer require park reservations. So, if you have that ticket type, you’ll be able to scan into any park of your choice on your park day without a reservation, pending park capacity.
If you’re staying at a
Disney World resort this summer and you’re planning to take advantage of the free water park tickets on check-in day, you will not need to make any park reservations for the water park, as
water parks also do not require reservations at this time.
I hope that helps! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, feel free to come back and visit us.
