Hi Arne!
Welcome back to planDisney!
I’m happy to report that, yes! You’ll be more than welcome to wear a costume to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s one of the rare times when guests of all ages can wear a costume to the parks.
While you’re at the party, you’ll see a wide variety of attire, from no costumes at all…to themed t-shirts…all the way to some very impressive, detailed costumes. Before finalizing your costumes, though, there are a few things to think about.
First and foremost, make sure to review all the
costume guidelines at this link. It’s good to note that while you’ll be able to wear Disney costumes, you will not be able to pose for photos with other guests or sign autographs.
Next, remember to consider the weather when choosing your costume. There have been times that we’ve attended this party when it was very hot and rainy! So, come prepared for that just in case.
And finally, don’t forget to think about your footwear. While I know it’s tempting to really dress the part, you’ll still be racking up quite a number of steps when walking around
Magic Kingdom to enjoy the attractions and festivities. Make sure to choose something comfortable for your feet!
I think that about covers it! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us. I hope you have the best time at the party! It’s one of my all-time favorite parties at Disney World!
