Hiya Tracy,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney again, this time with your transportation question! As Lightning McQueen would say, "Ka-Chow!” So let's put the pedal to the metal and race right into your question.
You are correct that there have been some recent updates to
Disney transportation. Bus service from
Disney Springs to Disney Resort hotels is available for Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or for those visiting a resort with a valid dining or recreation reservation. Guests may be asked to show a Resort hotel room key, dining reservation, or experience reservation before boarding.
If you have a valid dining or recreation reservation, you may board the appropriate
Disney Resort hotel bus from Disney Springs up to two hours before your reservation time.
If you're planning to visit multiple parks, enjoy dinner at a Disney Resort hotel, or do a little shopping, you can
park your car at a theme park for the day and then cruise around using Disney's complimentary transportation network. Just keep in mind that, much like a road trip with Mater, you may need to take a few different routes to get where you're going!
If you're looking for an extra special ride, don't forget about
Minnie Van service, powered by Lyft. It's one of my family's favorite ways to travel around Disney World because you get to ride in style with a friendly Cast Member behind the wheel. And, of course, traditional rideshare services are always another great option.
Tracy, I hope this helps clear up some of the information you've been seeing online. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
