If I pay to park at the Ticket and Transportation Center and then go to a resort from there, will I be able to go to and return from Disney Springs?

Greetings, Clifford! Please allow me to give you a warm welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you found us so we can help you navigate Disney transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort. Let's take a look.

You may have recently heard about some new transportation changes that took effect yesterday. While yes, it's still true that you can pay to park at any of the Disney Theme Parks and use complimentary transportation from there anywhere around Walt Disney World, there have been some changes to who may access Disney transportation from Disney Springs. Walt Disney World Bus Service from Disney Springs to Disney Resort hotels is available for Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or visiting one with a valid dining or experience reservation. Guests may be asked to show a valid Resort hotel room key, dining reservation or experience reservation. Guests with a valid dining or experience reservation may board the appropriate Disney Resort hotel bus from Disney Springs up to 2 hours before their reservation time.

This means that without one of these reservations, you won't be able to take a Disney bus to another resort for transfer back to a Disney Theme Park. In your case, I recommend driving your car to Disney Springs and then driving back to the park you wish to visit once you're ready. We certainly don't want you to get stranded! The nice thing is, once you've paid for parking at a theme park for the day, you don't have to pay again if you move your car. Just save your receipt and show it at the lot entrance.

Another option for you is to use the Minnie Van service to head back to the park from Disney Springs. This is a paid service offered through the Lyft app. I have personally used this at Disney Springs in the past and found it to be very convenient and fast compared to other transportation options. For my family, it's worth the splurge as an occasional treat when the circumstances are right.

Clifford, I hope your trip is fantastic! Please visit us again if you have any other planning questions we can help you with.

    Let your dreams guide you!
