Hello, I’m not staying at a Disney resort or going to any of the parks, but I would love to visit the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house. What would be the easiest way to get there. We will be visiting Disney Springs. Thank you so much

    Season's Greetings, Kevin!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question! Visiting the Gingerbread Displays is one of my favorite activities during the holiday season! Each display is unique to the resort, and the assortment of treats available for purchase is also great! To get to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, hop on the resort bus from Disney Springs. I recommend taking the Monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort afterward to see their beautiful Cinderella Castle display! To return to Disney Springs, you can take the bus from either resort.

The holiday season is abundant in glad tidings and delicious treats! The 2024 Foodie Guide by Disney Eats features several treats at Disney Springs that I think you may like, including:

    • Mini Christmas Croquembouche from Amorette's Patisserie
    • Christmas Waffle from Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC
    • Disney Holiday Ganache Box and Olaf Hot Cocoa Surprise from The Ganachery

If you have little ones with you, be sure to stop by and say hi to Santa Claus, who is greeting guests at Santa's Marketplace near Disney Pin Traders. Another fun family activity is the Christmas Tree Stroll! Pick up a map from The LEGO Store or City Works Eatery & Pour House to find all twelve trees throughout Disney Springs.

Kevin, I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you for stopping by planDisney!

    Happy Holidays!
