Hello! Does my 9 month old need a magic band for anything?

    Hi there, Mallory!

Welcome back to planDisney with another question! Mouseketeers under the age of three are considered to be "Guests of Mickey," which means they do not need theme park tickets or resort reservations during your visit! If you plan on dining at table-service locations, make sure your little one is included in the reservation (for seating purposes). No Magic Bands are needed, although I do recommend stopping by Curtain Call Collectibles at Magic Kingdom for your little one's first pair of Mickey ears! Mouseketeers, no matter the age, all need a pair of ears for their first visits!

As a mom of a toddler, I understand all too well that making sure you have all the things necessary for the baby during your visit is essential to a happy Walt Disney World Resort visit! Here are my top 3 tips for travel with babies:

    1. Stroller: I highly recommend bringing your personal stroller to Walt Disney World, especially with an infant. Be sure to wrap a brightly colored ribbon or have a custom nameplate made to find your stroller easily in the parking areas.
    2. Baby Care Centers: These little havens are perfect for diaper changes and feeds. There are private nursing areas available, as well as baby necessities for purchase (if needed).
    3. Cribs: If you haven't done so, call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line and request a crib be added to your reservation. You can also wait until you arrive, but for peace of mind, I recommend calling ahead.

Mallory, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you again for visiting planDisney, and I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday visit to Walt Disney World!

    Happy Holidays!

    Frances
