Hello, I’m coming from Canada with my husband, my sister her husband and 2 boys age 7 and 5. Do you think it will take us to cover 1 park in 1 day or should we get the park hopper?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Landah!

You’re as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I’m honored that you came to me as you get your Donald Ducks in a row for your summer visit to The Happiest Place On Earth! Oh boy, indeed! As a boy mom, your question brings back so many wonderful memories. I have spent a lot of time in both theme parks, so you came to the right Mouseketeer for advice on what to do, where to go, what to eat, and who to see!

Landah, whether you choose to visit both parks using a Park Hopper Ticket, or one park for a single-day adventure depends entirely on what you and your family have your heart set on seeing and doing. Each park has enough fun to make a full day of adventures. But if this is your first visit to the Disneyland Resort together, capturing a group photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle is a must!

But Landah, my little superhero adores the Disney California Adventure Park. To call him a Spiderman admirer is an understatement, so Avengers Campus is a dream come true for him. He also loves to feel immersed in Cars Land. feeling like he's stepped right into Radiator Springs from the film series.

And don't forget the incredible opportunities that are available to thrill-seekers over 48 inches! More of our favorite rides at this park are Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, just to name a few.

Overall, you and your little ones will have plenty of options to ride together as a family in both of the parks. I hope I've given you helpful insights for your dream visit to The Happiest Place On Earth, Landah! Just like Ursula from "The Little Mermaid" says, "That's what I do! It's what I live for!" So if you have any more questions before your visit, just swim on back to ask me again now that you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
