I haven't been to Disneyland since 1986. I want to go this summer. Where should I start?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Nuvea!

You’re as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm thrilled that you're planning to visit Disneyland this summer! Disneyland has changed a lot since 1986, so you're in for a lot of surprises and excitement.

One of the first things I recommend is downloading the Disneyland Mobile App. It's incredibly useful for scanning tickets, checking wait times, and even ordering food and drinks on the go. This will save you lots of time and allow you to focus on having fun!

Another thing to keep in mind is that since your last visit, a whole new park has been created: Disney California Adventure! This park is full of fun attractions and pay homage to some of your favorite Pixar and Marvel films. Plus, you'll get to experience all the charms of California, from the painted deserts to the majestic mountains, to the historic Pacific Wharf and classic Hollywood scenery. I know you'll love exploring all the unique charms of California in this park.

Now Nuvea, As someone who visited Disneyland as a kid in the 80s, I can tell you that the classics have stood the test of time. Haunted Mansion, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, and Pirates of the Caribbean are still must-see attractions for me every time I visit. But don't worry about trying to do everything - it can be overwhelming! Stick to the attractions you know you love and take your time.

Lastly, let me recommend a few of my favorite table-service restaurants that you won't want to miss. And at the end of the night, be sure to catch the newest nighttime spectacular, “Wondrous Journeys,” which features heartfelt scenes from 100 years of Disney animation woven together in a way that will leave you feeling nostalgic and happy.

I hope this gave you a great start, Nuvea! I can tell that you’re a Mouseketeer at heart, and I know you'll have a blast reliving your old memories and making new ones too. Please don’t hesitate to ask me another question if you think of any closer to your trip. I’m always here to lend a hand.

    Your pal,
    Danielle
