Which is the best Disneyland restaurant to dine at?

    Bonjour, N!

It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you to planDisney.  Now, I invite you to relax, pull up a chair, as I proudly present: your answer.

Now N, I know it can be tough to choose from so many options, but if you’re stressed, it’s fine dining I suggest!  The Blue Bayou Restaurant is a popular choice for visitors, and it's not hard to see why. The restaurant's serene ambiance, complete with dimly lit flickering lighting-bug style lights, the fragrance of water, and the exquisite flavors of the Big Easy, make it a unique dining experience.

Their menu boasts an array of mouth-watering dishes like gumbo, jambalaya, and their famous Monte Cristo sandwich. And the atmosphere is truly special - the gentle chirping of crickets and the passing boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride all add to the restaurant's charm.

Being a Creole girl at heart, I am partial to Café Orleans. Located in the heart of New Orleans Square, this is a more casual option if you want to try the Monte Cristo. With a more laid-back ambiance and a stunning view of the bustling activity along the Rivers of America, it is a favorite of mine. The pommes frites, served with garlic and parmesan aioli, are a must-try, and their seafood dishes are equally delicious.

For a character dining experience, head to The Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn. Located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., this restaurant offers a buffet-style breakfast and lunch with appearances by popular Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. The menu includes classic breakfast items like scrambled eggs, bacon, and waffles, as well as salads, pastas, and other lunch items. It's also a favorite dinner spot for its delicious fried chicken and large portions, which can easily feed two adults on a single plate.

Last but certainly not least, I must mention the Storytellers Café, located in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It happens to be my personal favorite! Since I love brunch, I get to savor the eggs benedict station while my Prince Charming finds this to be the best spot for chilaquiles - a dish he simply adores! Meanwhile, our little one can get his fill of Mickey waffles, so everybody wins!

So, come on and lift your glass and be our guest, oui, our guest. Be our Guest!!

N, I loved sharing these tips with you and I hope you found them to be helpful too! I’m so glad you are visiting the Disneyland Resort this week. Dinner here is never second best! So go on, unfold your menu, take a glance and then visit me again if you have any further questions (especially about mobile ordering)!

Thank you for putting my service to the test,
    Danielle
