Hi Manuela, and welcome back to planDisney!
Wilderness Lodge, specifically Copper Creek, is one of my
Disney Vacation Club home resorts, so I’m excited that you’ll be staying there in September. Let’s see what’s possible for your rooms!
If your two reservations are for the same resort and view type (in your case, this shouldn’t be an issue since
Copper Creek and
Boulder Ridge only have Resort View rooms), and your 2 Bedroom Villa is a Lock-Off, you can add a request to stay in the same 1 Bedroom Villa. Just give
Member Services a call to add this note to your reservation. While requests aren’t guaranteed, Cast Members will try their best to grant your wish!
When you get to Wilderness Lodge in September, I’d suggest checking with the front desk to see if your request came through. I’ve had to do this when I booked the same room type under two different membership numbers. Since the reservations couldn’t be combined, I added a request to stay in the same room. A Cast Member at the front desk was able to confirm that my request was fulfilled and it was okay to leave luggage in the room past check-out time.
September is a practically perfect time to visit Disney World this year since
Disney Starlight is expected to debut this summer in
Magic Kingdom! I’m excited to see all the sparkling parade floats featuring our favorite movies, like Frozen, Moana, and Peter Pan! Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. This week they gave us a
sneak peek at the attraction poster and some of the floats, with more details to come!
Also new for this year, Disney Resort Hotel guests get
complimentary admission to a water park on check-in day! September is usually pretty warm, so this is a great way to relax after a long flight while staying cool!
Safe travels to Disney World, and I hope you have a magical stay at Wilderness Lodge! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
