I was hired to take family photos at Disney, will I have to buy a ticket to enter?

Greetings, Socorro. Thanks for visiting planDisney! I am glad you are here.

Anyone wishing to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks needs to have both a valid admission ticket and a theme park reservation. For Southern California Residents (within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599), there is currently an awesome offer for a 3-day, 1-park per-day ticket for a discounted price. It's worth checking out!

Socorro, I want to caution that all commercial photography must be cleared by the Disneyland Resort. Per the Theme Parks – Frequently Asked Questions section of the Disneyland Resort website:

"Professional photographers with professional cameras or recording equipment, who are visiting the Disneyland Resort with the intent to take photographs or recordings of people, Disneyland Resort properties, or icons for professional purposes must request permission and make prior arrangements with appropriate Disneyland Resort representatives."

Socorro, if your photo session is for commercial purposes, I encourage you to reach out to the Guest Information phone line before your visit. I would hate for there to be any hiccups!

I hope this helps. Have a picture-perfect day!
