Hannah,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is such a fantastic place to spend a sunny Florida day!
Yes, you can hire towels at Typhoon Lagoon. You are also allowed to bring in your own snacks and drinks, with a few restrictions, which I am glad to share here.
First, let's talk about towels. If you are a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest, you get complimentary towels provided to you at both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Typhoon Lagoon. That is not the case with all guests to the Disney Water Parks, they usually are rented for a fee. But when you visit
Singapore Sal's or High 'N Dry Rentals, you can grab your towels there.
Next, let's plan our snacks for the day! If you want to bring in a cooler, that is OK with Disney. They will need to inspect it, and there are a few rules, as I mentioned. You cannot bring in any alcoholic beverages, though there are some for sale once inside the park. You also cannot use dry ice, glass containers, or loose ice. Reusable ice packs are fine. Also, the cooler must be no larger than 61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm (24" long x 15" wide x 18" high). So again, yes on the snacks and most drinks, with those few restrictions.
BONUS WATER PARK TIPIf you would like to enhance your water park visit, I strongly recommend booking a
Beachcomber Shack or making a Typhoon Lagoon
Umbrella reservation. Both give you a "home base" where you can keep your belongings and give your family a place to meet up. In the case of the Beachcomber shacks, you also get a nice, secluded home with incredible views of the wave pool for your family to connect and relax between activities. Call
(407) WDW-PLAY or
(407) 939-7529 when you get to the States to make a reservation.
Please feel free to
send me any follow-up questions, and be sure to watch this blog video that showcases some of Typhoon Lagoon!
