Hello! Why are there no open times listed for Typhoon Lagoon after Sep 30th? Trying to plan for our trip in November. I thought at least 1 of the water parks is open at all times and Blizzard Beach is closed. TIA

    Surf's up, Donovan!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping over with your splash-tastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm so excited to hear you're planning to visit a Disney water park on your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! My family loves splashing at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach water parks during every vacation - no matter what time of year we're visiting. Kowabunga!

Currently, Disney's Blizzard Beach water park is closed for refurbishment. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park hours are listed on the Walt Disney World Resort website and in the My Disney Experience mobile app through September 30, 2023. Donovan, I'm currently on-site enjoying a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I was able to chat with a friendly Cast Member from the Guest Experience Team about why park hours are not listed for either water park starting on October 1, 2023. The Cast Member I spoke with assured me that at least one Disney water park will be open after September 30, 2023 (weather dependent), and that additional information should be coming soon! I'd keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World Resort website for more information about Disney water park operational updates and/or future water park hours availability.

Donovan, I can understand wanting to plan ahead for your November Walt Disney World Resort visit. I think it's safe to assume that one of the Disney water parks will be available during your travel dates (weather dependent), so I'd plan accordingly for now! No matter which water park is open, your family is sure to have a wet and wild time! My family has unique favorites in each park. At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, we love splashing down Miss Adventure Falls together and bobbing in the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool (did you know it's North America's largest wave pool!?). Disney's Blizzard Beach is home to one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort attractions: Cross Country Creek. There's nothing more relaxing than chilling out while floating along a lazy river! Also, my son can't wait to check out Tike's Peak after its recent Frozen retheme.

I hope this information helps you to move forward with planning a vacation that's full of thrill and chill, Donovan. If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to surf back by planDisney again soon! We're here to help you add a splash of magic to your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Warm wishes,
