Hello there, Satinder. Welcome to our friendly little corner on the internet, full of tips and tricks for all things
Disney vacations.
You're in luck! Many of the rooms at the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels have transitioned away from carpeting and more towards wood-like flooring. In fact, I was just talking with my good friend, and neither of us can recall the last time we stayed at the resort in a room with carpet! While there isn't an official list of rooms that do and don't have carpet, as my friend
Ashley F. suggested to a Guest who asked a similar question, when you're perusing the site for your next stay, take a peek at the photos of the rooms. You will be able to see the type of flooring currently used at that hotel. And once you've officially booked your accommodations, for good measure, put in a request for a non-carpeted room. You may be able to do this when you check in on the
My Disney Experience mobile app, but you can also
send an email or
call a friendly Cast Member at the resort (I recommend doing both).
While there are a great many things to love at the
Walt Disney World Resort, one of the things I love most is the sheer amount of room options and hotel accommodations to choose from. Whether you're looking for more budget-friendly rooms at a
Value Resort or you want to go more fancy at a
Deluxe Resort or
Deluxe Villa Resort, there is something for you and your travel party. And then if you want something in the middle, you've got the
Moderate Resorts. Plus, at each of these resorts, you'll find
amazing perks, amenities, and some pretty top-notch Disney theming.
Satinder, I hope you find the room of your dreams! If you have any other questions,
I'm more than happy to answer them.
Believe you can, then you will,
Matt
