Welcome to planDisney, Debra. I'm glad you found us!
December at the
Walt Disney World Resort is such a special time. A few Decembers back, my husband and I stayed at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for a quick weekend getaway. We went to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, explored
the Gingerbread displays at some of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, and couldn't get enough of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. And the
Candlelight Processional? Breathtaking. I can't
wait for you to experience it.
To discover how much a one-day theme park ticket would cost on the day you'd like to visit, simply navigate to
the Theme Park Ticket page, select 1 day, find December 11, 2024 on the calendar, select the ticket type (if it's a 1 Park Per Day ticket, you'll have to select the theme park you'd like to visit), and scroll down to the bottom of the page for the subtotal. Since prices are subject to change, I encourage you to follow these steps to get the most up-to-date price and, when you're ready, make your purchase.
Now, I know I briefly mentioned the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays before, but don't gloss over this offering. Currently, the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is taking place, and while it's arguably the most famous of the festivals, don't snooze on the other festivals offered throughout the year. For the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which runs from November 29th to December 30, 2024, the park is decorated beautifully. There's specialty entertainment, delicious offerings at the Holiday Kitchens (my favorite), and Holiday Storytellers all around World Showcase. It really is a wonderful time of year to visit
EPCOT.
Debra, if you have any other questions,
I'm here for you.
It’s that time of year when the world falls in love,
Matt
