Welcome to planDisney, Amanda! Pretty soon, you'll be standing right in the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. gazing upon the beauty of Cinderella Castle and listening to the melodic hum of the Dapper Dans. As Lizzie McGuire would say,
"Hey now! Hey now! This is what dreams are made of!"
In addition to the stunning accommodations, delectable dining options, spectacular theming, and top-notch Cast Member service Disney Resort hotels are known for, staying at a
Deluxe Resort Hotel offers a host of additional benefits. My favorite of these benefits is the proximity to the theme parks and the
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, which allow Guests at select resorts extra time in the theme parks after closing on select nights. You can take advantage of this benefit in one of two ways.
1. If your method of theme park admission only gives you access to one theme park per day, then you will need to have a theme park reservation for the same park the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are taking place at and have already scanned into that park prior to the start of the extended hours.
OR
2. If you have a theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option, you must have already scanned into the theme park your reservation is at prior to hopping over to the park the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are being offered at.
You won’t need to make a separate reservation to attend the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. The Cast Members at the available attractions will scan your method of theme park admission to verify you have a valid reservation at one of the qualifying resorts. So, as long as you have your MagicBand or other form of admission with you, you’ll be good to go. Don’t forget that you can go to Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on both the day you check in and check out at your Disney Resort hotel as well.
I hope this information helps, Amanda. If you think of any other questions, please stop back by. Have a truly magical trip!
Tomorrow is just a dream away,
Alyssa
