Hiya, Kelsey, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you're coming back to
Walt Disney World Resort for the first time in forever. So much has changed in a decade, so you are in for an adventure! I see you've stayed up-to-date because you know about
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, so let's plan out some magic for you.
I chatted with a friendly Cast Member named Sal, who said that the Extended Evening benefit is exclusively for guests of
Deluxe Resort Hotels. When the
regular park hours end, guests who aren't registered at Deluxe Resorts will be directed to exit the park.
I know that's not the news you hoped to hear, Kelsey, but I have some suggestions.
Disney Springs is one of my favorite spots, and it's even more fun at night! There's often live music, and
World of Disney is the ultimate place to shop. I saved the best for last: Snacks! My favorite is
Gideon's Bakehouse, where I always get a half-pound Peanut Butter Crunch Cookie as my end-of-day treat. I think Disney Springs would be the perfect way to end your night. Parking is complimentary there, or you can use a rideshare service of your choice.
My final tip is to remember that all Disney Resort Hotel guests can enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes before opening. My family loves taking advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry to experience a favorite attraction and snap photos. So that's a wonderful way you can spend some bonus time in the magic!
Kelsey, let me be the first to welcome you back to Walt Disney World Resort! I'm sprinkling pixie dust and cookie crumbs to make your visit practically perfect. Please
stop by planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
