Welcome back to planDisney, Patricia!
Disney Dreams That Soar was absolutely magical, and although I got to experience its magic, my family did not. As you know, sadly, this drone show ended at the beginning of September 2024. I truly hope that it returns because seeing some of my favorite characters (Orange Bird, Baymax, and Mary Poppins, to name a few) at
Disney Springs was a practically perfect way to end an evening.
At the moment, there hasn’t been any news about another drone show coming our way. However, I recommend that you follow
Disney Parks Blog to be among the first to hear if anything is in development to premiere by the time of your vacation.
There are many nighttime spectaculars at the theme parks, but some of them you can even see without having a theme park ticket. You can see the Magic Kingdom Park
Happily Ever After fireworks from any of the Disney Monorail Disney Resorts Collection hotels. For example, I love eating dinner at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, grabbing a DOLE Whip, and then enjoying the fireworks on the beach.
Patricia, thanks again for stopping by to ask us this question. I really hope to see another use of the drone technology at the Disney Parks soon. By the way, if you have any other questions about your upcoming visits to Disney Destinations all over the world,
revisit us here at planDisney. Any of the panelists will be more than happy to help.
Magic always,
LeAndra
