Vanessa from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Will Haunted Mansion Holiday be open on January 15? Our family planned around this date since last year it was still open then. Since my nephew loves this ride.

Happy New Year, Vanessa. Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question!

Last year, Haunted Mansion Holiday stayed open a bit longer (until January 22, 2024) because the ride itself was due for a longer refurbishment and queue redesign. The ride was closed from January 22 until late July 2024. Usually, the holiday version of the ride ends when the holiday season does.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Haunted Mansion Holiday is due to revert to its original form once the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort end tomorrow, January 6. The transformation usually takes around 10 days, so I anticipate that Haunted Mansion will reopen sometime around January 18. I'm sorry if this is not what you hoped to hear, Vanessa.

Vanessa, if you need ideas for your visit to the Disneyland Resort with your nephew, did you know you can use the Disneyland Mobile App to discover rides and entertainment based on his height, age, or thrill factor? To do this, open the Disneyland app and tap the pin icon, which is second to the left on the bottom of the home screen. This opens up the park map with all the resort attractions showing. From here, click "Filter" in the top left of the navigation bar and it will give you numerous filter options to fit your family's interests and ages.

Thank you again for stopping by. I'm sorry that I didn't have better news. I'm hoping that you and your family still have a fantastic visit!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
