We are staying at art of animation. If we wanted to get on the skyliner just to ride, how long would our trip be to get back to art of animation? We are also planning Disney springs. I read that’s a bus ride from our hotel. We are cruising the next day!

Thanks for flying by planDisney with your question today, Kimberly! The Disney Skyliner offers guests a unique opportunity to soar above the trees on the Most Magical Flight on Earth and is an attraction all of its own! Let's talk about the details and routes so you can get to soaring!

Kimberly, from Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you can board the Disney Skyliner for a 6-minute flight over to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, which is the central hub for the Skyliner. From here, you can transfer to a connecting line to Hollywood Studios or a connecting line to EPCOT. If you're headed to Hollywood, it will take about another 6 minutes in the air to get you there. If you're heading to EPCOT, the ride is a little longer and takes around 13 minutes. If you head to EPCOT, the Skyliner will also pass through Disney's Riviera Resort, but you do not have to disembark to continue to EPCOT.

If you decide to take the Skyliner to EPCOT, you'll disembark at the International Gateway, which is the back entrance to the theme park and is situated along the Disney BoardWalk area. This area offers some picturesque views as well as some dining and recreation options if you've got some time to explore. Another option to extend your day would be to ride the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios where you can then take a FriendShip boat over to the BoardWalk. Once you've explored, you can hop aboard the Skyliner from the International Gateway to return to your resort!

Kimberly, if you're visiting Disney Springs, it is accessible by Disney Bus Service from your resort hotel. If you're visiting on the same day you plan to ride the Skyliner, you can take a Disney bus from any of the connecting Disney Resort hotels to or from Disney Springs to combine transportation options if you'd like! I always enjoy utilizing as many of the complimentary transportation methods as possible; it's part of the magic!

I hope this is helpful, Kimberly! Since you're also embarking on a Disney Cruise Line voyage, be sure to reach out to my panelist pal JoVonn if you have any specific cruise questions! She's got all the best answers for a magical sailing!

    See you real soon,
