Which rides in Disneyland are “any height”? And if we have a child too small for a ride can my husband and I do a “ride switch” with our older children?

A warm planDisney welcome to you, Shay. We're so glad you're here to share this question with us. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is practically here and I'm thrilled to help you prepare.

One of the things that I love about visiting the Disneyland Resort is how inclusive and thoughtful they are with their policies and offerings. The Disneyland app is a great tool to have on hand during your visit. Not only is there a map of the resort, attractions wait times and the feature to mobile order food and beverage (my favorite), but you can also easily find all attractions that do not have a height requirement.

To quickly find these, open the app and navigate to the map. Select "Attractions" from the drop-down menu and then tap "Filter" in the upper left corner. Scroll down to the "Height" section, select "Any Height" and then "Apply" at the bottom. You'll see all attractions with no height requirement on the map, or you can tap "Show List" in the upper right corner to see the full list. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Rider Switch is a great option for both you and your husband to ride any attraction that your little one may not meet the boarding requirements for or doesn't plan to ride and cannot wait outside of the queue alone. Before you hop in line, let the Cast Member know that you'd like to use this service and they'll scan your tickets and set up your party. A couple of my panelist pals, Elizabeth and Kaitlin even made a video with some helpful tips for using Rider Switch

The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are in full swing and you're sure to have a very merry time. The resort is decked out in its holly jolly best and it's a great time to snap that family holiday photo for this year's (or even next year's) holiday card. You can even find Santa to make any holiday wishes for the season. Check the Disneyland app for locations and meeting times.

Shay, I hope this is helpful as you are preparing and counting down the days until your visit. Please come back to let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Here's wishing you a most magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
