Hi there, Marianne! Welcome to planDisney. The summer months are always a treat for visiting the parks, with the California sunshine putting everyone in a great mood. It’s a great time to catch the last bits of the
70th Celebration as well!
I completely understand wanting to dress comfortably for those warm park days! While the
Guest Courtesy and Attire Policies don’t specifically mention halter tops, Guests are required to wear proper attire, including shoes and shirts, at all times according to the
Park Rules and Regulations. Cast Members also reserve the right to deny admission to or remove anyone wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or that could detract from the experience of other Guests. With that in mind, I'd recommend using your best judgment when planning your park outfit.
Since you'll be visiting during the summer months, I'd also suggest planning for the heat. A portable fan can be a lifesaver while waiting for parades or attractions, and staying hydrated is always important. My favorite place to cool off is the
Golden Horseshoe because the air conditioning is blasting, and it’s a perfect afternoon stop for mini corn dogs and an ice-cold Shirley Temple! I also like to bring a light layer just in case, as some attractions, restaurants, and shops can feel quite chilly thanks to the answer air conditioning.
Marianne, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope this helps as you prepare for your visit! If you have any other questions as your trip gets closer, planDisney is here to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
